ABOUT THE ARTIST
Roderick Koh is a flamboyant artist who has been painting up a storm for over 30 years. His signature is the use of black, gold and mixed media to create volume, depth, and texture. His painting always symbolizes his thoughts, unspoken words, dreams and hope. He paints in the wee hours of the morning, where he feels most inspired by the quiet darkness.
Besides painting, Roderick has spent most of his career in the hospitality industry, working in brand names such as Club Med-Worldwide and Suntec Singapore, where he was the Director of Operations.
Roderick has also dabbled in other art forms such as dancing at the Aix Atelier Jazz Compagnie in France with Matt Mattox as well as managing a production house and modelling agency in Taipei, Taiwan.
He graduated from Ecole Les Roches Crans Montana Switzerland and obtained his management degree while studying French Literature and Communications from Universite d’Aix Marseille Aix-en Provence, France.
